This is a healthy, easy-to-make and tasty dressing base that you can keep as is for salads or you can punch it up with your favorite spices and mix it with some plain yogurt for a dip with vegetables or whole grain crackers. And it's pretty.
1 avocado, peeled and pitted
2-3 cloves garlic
1 lime, its juice and grated peel
1/3 cup water
Salt and pepper to taste
optional: add cumin, cliantro, sumac, greek yogurt, tomatoes or whatever you think will taste great
Place all ingredients into blender or food processor except water. With the appliance running, drizzle water into dressing to create the perfect thickness.
